Ministries Randwick parishioners are involved in special ministries such as liturgical readers, Eucharistic ministers, music ministers and visitation of the sick and hospital ministry. For more informationcontact the parish secretary.
RCIA The RCIA program or the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is a process for introducing non-Catholics into the faith and practice of the Catholic Church. The course lasts for 9 months beginning mid-year and culminating the following Easter. For more information contact the presbytery
Marriage Encounter This is a weekend for married couples where they focus on their relationship in a private setting. The Marriage Encounter program is used in 80 countries and has recently been revised and updated. For more information contact the parish secretary.
Catechists The Randwick parish catechists visit Randwick Public School on Wednesday mornings and Rainbow St Public School on Thursday mornings. Ten catechists teach 132 children from Kindergarten to Year 6. The programme we follow is called Joy for Living and the parish supplies all materials for the children and the catechists. Catechists are encouraged to participate in the three-year accreditation course. There is also an opportunity each year to attend workshops and conferences organised by the CCD (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine) For more information contact the parish secretary
